Generally, it is accepted there that there are 23... (sometimes 22, often 21, 25...). Research shows that 99% of Finns (including linguists) do not know what the actual number should be, given the wealth of dialects and vernaculars in that country. Best regards to all and thank you!

It was wonderful, by the way. In one of the issues, around 1983, there was an article about the Polish language. Unfortunately, I don't remember the author. In short, the article said that Polish is the primary/source language, and that all languages in the world derive from it. At that time, my knowledge was poor, so the information contained therein seemed highly absurd to me. Dziś wiem, że sens w tym był. I am writing this for informational purposes, for the sake of chronicling. I am fascinated by your work; I love grammar.

-> I have not studied either Polish studies or linguistics at the university, but for 46 years (yes, it has been that long since my literary debut) I have been practicing a profession that involves constantly turning the Polish word.
I have been studying the Polish language for almost 50 years on all levels, starting from morphemes and phonemes, through grammatical constructions, and ending with manipulating meanings and constructing great poetic-epic forms.
Well, I intended to support Mrs. Joanna's intention to reform Polish grammar with just a few words – and it turned into a small essay about the history of Slavic peoples and the role of the Lechites in this process – as always.
Greetings Ms. Joanna and I wish you good luck and determination – you must arm yourself with very thick skin and not worry about the criticism that you will consider irrelevant to the subject of your work.

Perhaps to Marie Curie, but I'm not sure if she stood so high in terms of philosophy. Probably so, because she is famous. What you say makes sense, and that is a rarity today.
In general, if someone starts to think creatively about our language, that's already a success, because most people consider it to be provincial and something that fell from some animal's backside. I also have to agree with the Host that dialects are powerful, a multidimensional world of small streams of a great river. Which was (almost) drowned.
We were being unlearned intensively in schools. I observed this process carefully.
For the death of the guarantee, I accepted the moment when I stopped distinguishing between the pronunciation of the residents of Warsaw and Krakow. This happened quite recently.
There is no fashion for dialects, as in other countries. So GOOD LUCK Joanna, it has to work out, and even from what I've heard, it is already a success, because if an idea has arisen in one mind, it belongs to the Space and other minds.
